In January 2006 they started of the production of the film. The main plot of the film is a modern day retelling of Noah’s Ark. The film became the most expensive comedy film. It achieved more than 174 million dollars the film released on DVD and HD DVD.

The film contains great actors and actress Steven Carell in role of Evan Baxter as we mention-Lauren Graham who makes the role of Evan’s wife- molly Shannon in the role of Eve Adams and Catherine Bell as Susan Ortega.

The screenplay of the film was titled “ The Passion of the Ark” and the film was written by Bobby Florsheim and Josh Stolberg.

Jim Carrey and Jennifer Aniston wanted to reprise their roles from the original Bruce Almighty. Jim Carrey declared that he does not like to do the same character twice.

The construction of the ark began in January 2006 and it was designed to meet the actual measurements of the biblical ark.
